Excellent and honest dealer, 5 stars .....

John has been very fair in his appraisals and offerings for any of the coins I've brought to him. Has always made time for my questions. I would feel very comfortable suggesting him to anyone in the greater Buffalo area.

His integrity is stellar. Very knowledgeable in coins. But he helped both myself and a dear friend sell some very high-end jewelry in some financially difficult times. He is WNY’s best. Trust me, I shopped around.My husband also recommended him to a healthcare colleague. They felt the same way.

I recently decided to have a coin collection that I inherited from my grandfather appraised to sell. Sat down with John and discussed the collection. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I left my collection with him for a couple days then he called me to discuss his appraisal and purchase offer. It was easy to complete the transaction and he offered to mail me the check to save me the trip.

Mr. Magavern was very knowledgeable about all my grandfather's coins. He took his time to explain what made a coin valuable and why most of my coins were worth their silver value yet others were worth significant value. He was professional and offered us the most for our coins. Would certainly recommend him to my friends and family.
